Youth Empowerment Cricket Cup Inaugurated at Mini Stadium Heevan, Sheeri Baramulla under Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan
The Save Youth Save Future Foundation successfully organised the Youth Empowerment Cricket Cup at Mini Stadium Heevan, Sheeri Baramulla, as part of its continued efforts to promote youth engagement, sports development, and social awareness under the framework of the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan, a national initiative aligned with the vision of Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
The inaugural ceremony of the tournament was held with significant participation from young players, local sports associations, and members of the community. The event also represented one of the key programmes conducted by the organisation, reflecting its sustained commitment to constructive youth activities and community upliftment.
The programme was graced by Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Shri. Syed Fakhruddin Hamid (IAS) accompanied by Chairman of “Save Youth Save Future’”Foundation Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat. The occasion was further attended by ACD Baramulla Mudassir Hussain, SHO Sheeri Mr. Jazib Bhat, along with other senior officials and respected dignitaries whose presence underscored the importance of the initiative.
The Foundation expressed its sincere appreciation to the Heevan Cricket Association, particularly its President Shri Sheikh Tajamul, along with all officials, players, volunteers, and members of the local community of Narvaw for their cooperation and support in ensuring the successful conduct of the event.
The Foundation also acknowledged the support and coordination extended by Baramulla Police, especially SSP Baramulla Shri. Gurinderpal Singh (IPS) and his team, whose efforts contributed significantly to the smooth and peaceful execution of the programme.
