Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Baramulla, Save Youth Save Future (SYSF) is one of Kashmir’s leading youth development foundations, empowering young people to become catalysts of social change and innovation. SYSF bridges traditional values with modern opportunities, enabling youth to thrive while contributing to a peaceful and inclusive society. SYSF’s initiatives span education, entrepreneurship, cultural preservation, sports, peacebuilding, and human rights advocacy. The foundation actively supports victims of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, promoting awareness, rehabilitation, and justice. Its Peace and Reconciliation programs foster dialogue, social cohesion, and healing in conflict-affected communities, encouraging youth and women to embrace constructive engagement and leadership. Research and evidence-based advocacy are central to SYSF’s work. The landmark study “Unraveling the Truth: A Critical Study of Unmarked and Unidentified Graves in Kashmir Valley” documented thousands of unmarked graves across multiple districts, helping initiate informed dialogue, reconciliation, and policy awareness. SYSF’s programs, including education campaigns, anti-drug awareness initiatives, entrepreneurship conclaves, cultural revival, and women’s empowerment, are designed for measurable impact. To date, SYSF has directly engaged and empowered over 3 lakh youth across Kashmir, creating lasting transformations at both the individual and community levels. The foundation combines local insight with international best practices, collaborating with communities, educational institutions, civil society organizations, and international partners such as the European Union to deliver sustainable change. Its work is measured not only by numbers but by the emergence of empowered youth and women shaping society as innovators, leaders, and peacebuilders. Join us in empowering youth and women, advancing human rights, and building a peaceful and prosperous Kashmir.
