Interaction Programme on Drug Awareness Organised at Darul Uloom Qurashia, Sheeri Baramulla.

Baramulla, May 18: Save Youth Save Future Foundation organised an interaction programme with local religious scholars, Muftis, Huffaz, Imams, and members of the local community at Darul Uloom Qurashia in the esteemed presence of Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Shri Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid (IAS), along with Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Chairman of Save Youth Save Future Foundation, and Mudasir Hussain, Additional Chief Development Officer (ACD) Baramulla, besides other senior officers, local representatives, and respected members of the madrasa.

The interaction programme focused on the growing menace of drug abuse and the important role of religious scholars, Imams, and community leaders in creating awareness and protecting the younger generation from substance addiction. The speakers highlighted the need for collective social responsibility, moral guidance, and active public participation to build a healthy, progressive, and drug-free society.

During the programme, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Shri Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid (IAS), interacted with religious scholars, madrasa heads, and members of the local community, appreciating their contribution towards social reform, youth guidance, and nation-building. He assured full support from the district administration for all initiatives aimed at safeguarding youth and eradicating the drug menace from society.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Wajahat Farooq Bhat emphasized the importance of unity and collective efforts in addressing social challenges affecting the youth. He also expressed gratitude to the district administration, religious scholars, and members of civil society for their participation and support.

The programme concluded with a strong message of awareness, unity, and collective commitment towards building a safe, healthy, and drug-free Baramulla for future generations.
