The Save Youth Save Future Foundation organized a grand programme titled “DARDNAMA: A Chronicle of Pain, Truth, and Human Resilience” at Dak Bungalow, Baramulla, with the participation of nearly 250 families from across Baramulla district. The event provided a dignified platform for victims of terrorism to share their experiences, many of whom had remained unheard for more than three decades.

The programme focused on families affected during the past thirty years whose cases had neither been properly documented nor addressed in a systematic manner. The interaction aimed to acknowledge their suffering, restore dignity, and bring long-pending grievances into the administrative domain.

Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Shri Syed Fakhruddin Hamid (IAS), attended the programme as Chief Guest. Senior Superintendent of Police Baramulla, Shri Gurinderpal Singh (IPS), attended as Guest of Honour. The event was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Shri Syed Altaf Hussain Musvi; Chairman of Save Youth Save Future Foundation, Shri Wajahat Farooq Bhat; Women’s Wing President, Ms. Anika Nazir; and District Information Officer Baramulla, Shri Iftikhar Naseem, along with other dignitaries and senior members of the organisation.

Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Shri Syed Fakhruddin Hamid, assured that all genuine cases presented during the programme would be examined on priority and processed in accordance with established procedures.

Senior Superintendent of Police Baramulla, Shri Gurinderpal Singh, assured full cooperation from the police administration and stated that all necessary support would be extended in genuine matters concerning terror victim families.

Chairman of Save Youth Save Future Foundation, Shri Wajahat Farooq Bhat, stated that the foundation remains committed to ensuring justice, dignity, and recognition for victims of terrorism and will continue to follow up all pending genuine cases through proper channels.
Ms. Anika Nazir concluded the programme with a vote of thanks and reiterated that the organisation would continue its efforts to support victims of terrorism and ensure that their concerns are consistently pursued.

The victim-centric initiatives undertaken under the leadership of Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, were acknowledged and appreciated, particularly those related to rehabilitation, relief measures, and employment support for affected families.
The programme concluded with a collective call for justice, dignity, and sustained institutional support for victims of terrorism.
