The District Police Shopian, in collaboration with Save Youth Save Future Foundation, organized a Police–Public Outreach Program at Keegam, Shopian.
Save Youth Save Future Foundation remains committed to the holistic growth and development of Jammu & Kashmir. The organization continues to strive for the creation of a drug-free and crime-free society while extending full support to initiatives that strengthen law and order and promote stability across the Union Territory.
The District Shopian unit of Save Youth Save Future Foundation, led by its coordinator Irshad Ahmad Bhat, along with Rasik Nabi, Aqib Ahmad, and district coordinators of Pulwama and Budgam, Jasib Shabir and Shabir Ahmed, actively participated in the event.
The outreach program aimed to engage diverse sections of society, including youth, students, elders, academicians, businesspersons, self-help groups, and sportspersons, to enhance community participation, promote awareness, and build collective responsibility toward a safer and progressive society.
The event was graced by the presence of SSP Shopian, Shri Mushtaq Ahmad Choudhary, along with other officials of the District Shopian Police, who interacted with locals and listened to their concerns. A wide range of public grievances were put forth by participants representing various walks of life. SSP Shopian assured that all genuine concerns of citizens would be addressed in a time-bound and transparent manner, reaffirming that Shopian Police is truly the people’s police, approachable, responsive, and community-oriented.
