Continuation of “Nayi Subah – Nasha Se Azadi, Zindagi Ke Saath” Held at Government Degree College Tral

Save Youth Save Future (SYSF), in collaboration with the District Administration Pulwama and the Department of Social Welfare Pulwama, successfully organized the next event under the campaign “Nayi Subah – Nasha Se Azadi, Zindagi Ke Saath” at Government Degree College (GDC) Tral.
The event was graced by Mr. Rajesh Kumar, DySP Tral, as the Chief Guest, along with Mr. Jasib Shabir, District Coordinator, Save Youth Save Future.
Speakers from the Health Department, Sports Department, and Social Welfare Department Pulwama delivered impactful addresses, emphasizing the urgent need to combat drug abuse. Mr. Irshad Ahmad Bhat, District Coordinator SYSF, Mr. Yasir Bashir, and Ms. Mahida Malik, a law student, also addressed the audience, motivating students to play an active role in creating a drug-free society.
An interactive question-and-answer session followed, during which DySP Rajesh Kumar engaged with students and highlighted the crucial role of parents in preventing youth from falling into addiction. He also shared his contact number, assuring that any information regarding drug peddlers would remain strictly confidential.
Later, DySP Tral and other dignitaries interacted with members of the NSS unit of GDC Tral, encouraging them to submit monthly reports on drug-related activities. Two student representatives were selected to coordinate and regularly share updates with the District Administration.
The event was hosted by Ms. Faiqa, whose coordination and efforts ensured the smooth conduct and success of the program.
The event concluded with a collective pledge to continue spreading awareness and to work together for a drug-free Pulwama, carrying forward the message of “Nayi Subah – Nasha Se Azadi, Zindagi Ke Saath.”
