Save Youth Save Future Foundation Empowers Kashmir’s Youth Through Sports at Sheeri Seminar and Uniform Reveal Ceremony
Sheeri, Baramulla – On July 16th, the Save Youth Save Future Foundation hosted a significant event titled “Empowering Youth Through Sports: Unveiling Potential at Sheeri.” The ceremony, held at The Sliders Cafe in Sheeri, Baramulla, featured a special uniform reveal where cricket uniforms and kits were distributed to both senior and junior teams, aiming to ignite a passion for sports among the youth.
Chief Guest SP Baramulla Police, Mr. Firoz Yehya, delivered a compelling address on the transformative power of sports in society and emphasized its role in building positive community relations.
Chairman Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat reiterated the Foundation’s steadfast commitment to nurturing local talent and empowering young athletes to achieve excellence in Kashmir.
President Sheikh Tajamul of the Heewan Cricket Association eloquently spoke on the intrinsic values of sports and their alignment with religious teachings, calling for robust community support for budding athletes.
The event drew participation from esteemed dignitaries including representatives from Narvaw Block, civil society, Masjid committees, Local Beopar Mandal, and Auqaf Committees. Among the attendees were Treasurer Mr. Ishfaq Ahmed Bhat and Coordinator Mr. Maqbool Khan of the Save Youth Save Future Foundation. Their presence underscored the Foundation’s holistic approach to youth development through sports.
