In a landmark moment for fitness and youth empowerment in the region, the Save Youth Save Future Foundation, in collaboration with the Deadlift Kings Association, successfully hosted the 1st Deadlift Championship at the Fitness Gym Centre, Heewan Narvaw, Baramulla on November 19, 2023.
This first-of-its-kind event in the Narvaw block drew enthusiastic participation from across the Kashmir Division, highlighting a growing interest in health, strength sports, and fitness culture. The championship not only celebrated athletic excellence but also broke new ground with the inclusion of female participants, symbolizing a progressive step toward gender inclusivity in strength sports.
