“The Young Kashmir: The Dialogue Within” — An Interaction Event Organized by Save Youth Save Future Foundation and Baramulla Police
Baramulla, 19 June 2023 — As part of a series of events across various locations, the Save Youth Save Future Foundation, in collaboration with Baramulla Police, organized an inspiring interaction event titled “The Young Kashmir: The Dialogue Within” at the Government Higher Secondary School, Fathegarh, Baramulla.
The event was graced by several notable personalities, including Ms. Divya D-IPS, SP Headquarters Baramulla Police; DSP DAR Baramulla Peerzada Aijaz Ahmed; SYSF Chairman Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat; SHO Sheeri Syed Waseem Jahangir; Principal of Higher Secondary School Fathegarh Mr. Shameem Ahmed; renowned teacher Mr. Reyaz Ahmed Ganaie; and other distinguished guests.
Ms. Divya D-IPS addressed the students, with special emphasis on encouraging female students. She shared her personal journey of successfully qualifying the Civil Service Exam and shed light on various career opportunities available to the youth. She also spoke candidly about the ongoing drug menace, urging students to use the Police Public Outreach program as a platform to voice their concerns and seek help.
A highlight of the event was the recognition of local student Shahida Bano and her mentor, Reyaz Ahmed Ganaie, for their remarkable achievements. Shahida has been selected for the prestigious Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Programme in Science under the SAKURA Exchange Programme. Both Shahida and Mr. Ganaie shared their stories of perseverance, resilience, and success, inspiring the attendees with their dedication and innovative spirit.
Following the interaction, Ms. Divya D-IPS felicitated Shahida Bano for her innovative contributions and acknowledged the crucial mentorship provided by Reyaz Ahmed Ganaie.
Concluding the event, Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Chairman of Save Youth Save Future Foundation, extended a heartfelt vote of thanks.
