Baramulla, 14 May 2023 — Save Youth Save Future, in collaboration with the Big Bash Gutiyar Youth Forum, successfully organized the inaugural match of the Big Bash League 1st Edition 2023 in Baramulla. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and was graced by several renowned dignitaries from across the district.
The tournament was organized under the supervision of dedicated volunteers including Javid Ahmed Raja, Mir Mudasir, Altaf Hussain, Manya Sarwar, Mudasir Lone, Irfan Ahmed Mir, Mohammad Shafi Mir, and others who played a key role in ensuring the event’s success.
The inaugural match was presided over by DySP DAR Baramulla Peerzada Aijaz Ahmed, Chairman of Save Youth Save Future Wajahat Farooq Bhat, prominent social and political activist Ghulam Hassan Rahi, Probationary DySP/SHO Baramulla Naveed Qazi, Sarpanch Gutiyar Mohammad Rajab Lone, renowned commentator Kifayat Ahmed, and other dignitaries from the district.
The Big Bash Gutiyar 1st Edition 2023 will feature 16 teams from various parts of Baramulla, aiming to promote and nurture young sporting talent in the region.
During the event, DySP DAR Baramulla Peerzada Aijaz Ahmed distributed cricket kits to several teams under the Civic Action Programme, an initiative that was warmly appreciated by players and spectators alike.
Save Youth Save Future Foundation reiterated its commitment to supporting youth empowerment by providing platforms where young individuals can showcase their skills and realize their potential.
