Save Youth Save Future Foundation Organizes Seminar on “Importance of Modern and Skill Education with Religious Education”
Shopian, 16 March 2023 — The "Save Youth Save Future" Foundation hosted an insightful event at Daruloom Jamia-Minarul Hudda Mashwara Shopian, focusing on the critical role of integrating modern and skill-based education with traditional religious learning.
The seminar aimed to highlight government initiatives designed to skill the youth and empower them through various financial assistance schemes, ensuring their holistic development.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including SYSF Chairman Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Tehsildar Keller Shopian Mr. Shakeel Ahmed, Moulana Shakeel ur Rehman Owaisi, Naib Tehsildar Keller Shopian, and representatives from the Employment Department, ITI, Agricultural Horticulture, alongside other local dignitaries.
During the event, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed underscored the importance of bridging the gap between the local community and the administration to facilitate better access to developmental resources.
Chairman Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat emphasized the urgent need for religious educational institutions to incorporate modern and skill-based education, urging madrasas to expand their curricula to prepare youth for the demands of the modern world.
Mudasir Dar, Zonal President of SYSF South Kashmir, stressed that education forms the foundation of a thriving society and that the combination of modern, skill, and Islamic education is essential for Kashmiri youth to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving global landscape.
The event concluded with the distribution of educational kits to madrasa students by Chairman Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Zonal President Mudasir Ahmad Dar, and SYSF Coordinator Fayaz Ahmed Mir.
