"Save Youth Save Future" Launches “Samuk Shopian” Public Outreach Program at Pirpora Shopian

The “Save Youth Save Future” (SYSF) Foundation launched its new public outreach initiative, "Samuk Shopian," at Pirpora Sheikhpora, aimed at addressing the daily challenges faced by youth and providing a platform for the community, especially young people, to voice their concerns and insights.
The program was attended by Chairman SYSF Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Zonal President South Kashmir SYSF Mr. Mudasir Ahmad Dar, noted educationist and teacher Mr. Nazir Ahmad, members of the Auqaaf Committee Peerpora Shopian, and other prominent local figures.
Education and Community Engagement as Drivers of Change
Mr. Nazir Ahmad shared valuable perspectives on education reform, emphasizing the importance of grassroots efforts and community involvement. He cited the successful transformation of a waste dumping site into a vital community asset—achieved through collaboration between school management and local residents—as a model for sustainable social development.
“Active community participation is the key to bringing positive change,” he stated, urging further engagement in education and social initiatives.
Youth Raise Key Issues; Administration Responds
Youth participants raised concerns related to rural development, skill development programs, sports infrastructure, formation of self-help groups, and the pressing issue of drug addiction.
In response, Chairman Wajahat Farooq Bhat assured prompt follow-up on these grievances, pledging to coordinate with district authorities for effective redressal.
The district administration took serious note of the issues raised during the event. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Mr. Yaar Ali Khan, personally assured the delegation of full administrative support and encouraged the youth to become proactive agents of change.
“The district administration’s doors are open to all residents,” ADC Khan affirmed, “and we are committed to resolving public grievances promptly.”
SYSF Reiterates Commitment to Peacebuilding and Youth Empowerment
Expressing gratitude, Chairman Bhat thanked the Shopian district administration, particularly ADC Yaar Ali Khan, for their timely and positive response.
He reiterated that the “Save Youth Save Future” Foundation remains open and dedicated to all young individuals committed to fostering peace, social harmony, and positive societal transformation.
