SYSF NGO Organizes Protest in Baramulla to Condemn Killing of Pandit in Shopian
Baramulla, J&K – In a strong display of solidarity with the Kashmiri Pandit community, Save Youth Save Future (SYSF) NGO organised a peaceful protest in Baramulla to condemn the recent killing of a Pandit individual in Shopian.
The protest witnessed participation from people of diverse backgrounds, including social activists, students, members of civil society, and community leaders.
During the demonstration, the speakers expressed deep concern over the targeted killing and emphasised the urgent need to safeguard minority communities, particularly the Pandit community, which has historically faced challenges in the region.
The protestors called upon civil society, government bodies, and local communities to stand united against violence and to promote peace, communal harmony, and mutual respect across all communities in Jammu and Kashmir.
