Baramulla, 17th September 2022 — The NGO "Save Youth Save Future" (SYSF) organised a One-Day Drug De-Addiction Seminar at Sunrise Quality Public School, Kitchama Sheeri, Baramulla, in collaboration with the Baramulla Police.

In his keynote address, SSP Rayees Mohammad Bhat highlighted the alarming involvement of youth in drug addiction and the severe consequences it brings. He emphasized the need for a balanced approach to life, especially among students, stressing the importance of career planning, mental well-being, and self-discipline.
Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat spoke passionately about the value of life and the significance of contributing positively to humanity. He urged the youth to steer away from destructive habits and instead become agents of change within their communities.
Mr. Ghani praised the tremendous work being done by SYSF and expressed his full support for such initiatives. He called for more frequent awareness programs to inform and inspire the public, especially the youth, towards positive and constructive living.
The event concluded with a Cultural Programme, including student speeches, a thought-provoking skit, and an Award Ceremony to honour contributors and participants.
