Zia Ul Islam, a social activist from Baramulla, threw light on how we can build a better society capable of addressing new and emerging challenges.

He said, “Society is composed of all of us, and it is we who will decide what is best for us. We must not allow ourselves to be misled by anti-social elements.”

He emphasized that education is the most powerful weapon to bring positive change in society and the nation. He also stressed the need to enhance public-administration coordination to deal with the challenges people face in their daily lives.

Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat – Chairman, SYSF

Chairman Wajahat Farooq Bhat spoke on a wide range of issues being faced by our nation and society.

He said that we must keep pace with new and multi-front challenges, and this requires collective effort. He emphasized the role of education in creating a peaceful and prosperous life, stating that without peace and harmony, nothing will change.

He further highlighted the need to build scientific temper and critical thinking, and stressed that youth are the key drivers of a balanced society. He added that our focus must be on changing our own lives and surroundings, which have been hijacked by certain elements for nefarious purposes.
