Today on 18th of February, 2022, NGO - Save Youth Save Future (SYSF) organised a One -Day Seminar on Youth De-Radicalisation/Youth Parliament & Mainstreaming at Conference Hall, Eddy Hotel, U2 Plaza, Bypass, Sopore, Baramulla.
Today on 18th of February, 2022, NGO - Save Youth Save Future (SYSF) organised a One -Day Seminar on Youth De-Radicalisation/Youth Parliament & Mainstreaming at Conference Hall, Eddy Hotel, U2 Plaza, Bypass, Sopore, Baramulla.
The participants included 60 boys & 30 girls & the speakers of the occassion were:
* SDPO Sopore Shri Furkan Qadir-JKPS
* Mr. Owais Nanda, Educationist & Writer.
*Er. Mehraj, social activist, motivational speaker
* Mr. Wajahat Farooq bhat , Chairman SYSF.
The Event Started with Tilawati Kalam by Atif Bhat, and by following Naati Shareef Binti Bilques and Local Speakers from Sopore Shakir Ahmed and Aayena Habib who spoke about the Importance of Women Education in Isalam.
Students across baramulla district participated and there was engrossing discussion about kashmir history . The deliberation included the role of separatists in destabilizing the economy of Kashmir and spreading black money across the region; the way they mislead students of kashmir even while their own children got flourishing careers and various of their hypocritical ways were talked by speakers.
DSP Furqaan talked on essence of rational thinking and ways to take society on progressive curve as the world evolves by various means. He also focussed on youngsters , and their need to think on scientific terms and making sure that superstition has less presence in the young minds.
Owais Nanda, a dynamic teacher, Spoke on needs of understanding role of positivity & mannerism in a human being. He spoke how our values have deteriorated over time and why various institutions are failing due to common people like us who do not work towards bringing change or appreciating the good things but only focus on complaints.
Er. Mehraj spoke on Essence of education in our day to day lives. He talked about how our youngsters have lost the focus on learning things, getting knowledge or other positive initiatives. He talked about harmoniously balancing religion and education and use it to bring positivity around us. He said the technological advancements are moving so fast that the world is constantly changing but we have remained just cause users of this industrial revolution 4.0 where we could rather have focussed on becoming the developers and inventors and contributed towards uplifting of humanity across the world.
The youth was enthusiastically involved in the interaction session and many thought-provoking questions were asked by students to stakeholders. The question-and-answer session went incredibly well and additionally the grievances of the students were addressed and acknowledged , acting as a bridge between government and common people.
During the Event , a Guy from Baramulla Namely Zia Ul Islam who was a former stone pelter and now Deputy Sarpanch. shared his life story how his life changed from extremism to peace builder.
The Event was also attended by Ishfaq Ahmed Bhat, Zahid Fayaz Mir.
At Last , SDPO Sopore felicated young Achievers who spoke during the event.
SYSF would be conducting such Seminars & Youth related programmes in future too, to spread awareness & literacy, & thereby fostering mainstreaming & integration in our youth.
