Save Youth Save Future Organizes Jashn-e-ChillaKalan: Young Achievers Honored Amidst a Musical Extravaganza
Save Youth Save Future (SYSF) Shopian, in collaboration with the Indian Army, organized a grand event titled Jashn-e-ChillaKalan, the annual festival of South Kashmir’s Shopian district. The event was honored by the presence of GOC 15 Corps, Lt General DP Panday, along with dignitaries from the Army, Police, and Civil Administration.
A large crowd gathered to enjoy soulful performances by renowned valley singers such as Qatar Khan, Abid Ali, and Zubair Khan. The festivities also featured folk dance shows and the finals of a music competition.
During the event, the book “Eternal Soul” by Syed Faizan Geelani was released, and the premiere of the short film “Good Shot” by Mr. Puneet Balan was showcased.
Young achievers who made remarkable contributions in various fields during the COVID lockdown were felicitated by the GOC Victor Force. Additionally, five singing sensations from South Kashmir were honored with awards including bikes, refrigerators, LED TVs, and guitars.
Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Chairman SYSF, expressed, “We are committed to providing a platform for the youth of Kashmir to showcase their talents and guide them on the right path.” He extended heartfelt thanks to the people of South Kashmir and all dignitaries who contributed to the success of this mega event.
