In adherence to COVID-19 SOPs and health safety protocols, the J&K-based NGO "Save Youth Save Future" (SYSF) organized a special event at Darul Uloom Qurashia focused on the role and responsibilities of religious leaders during the pandemic and in shaping a socially balanced society.
Chief Guest: Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Chairman, Save Youth Save Future
Attendees: 35 Imams and Molvis from Darul Uloom Qurashia
Focus: The critical role of Imams in community guidance, particularly during the COVID-19 crisis, and their moral responsibility in fostering peace, education, and social harmony.
“Imams are not only spiritual leaders but also social reformers. In times of crisis like COVID-19, their voice and guidance are essential to uphold public health, promote compassion, and maintain unity,” said Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat.
As part of SYSF’s mission to blend traditional learning with modern education, the foundation donated:
Computer systems
Educational equipment
These resources were handed over to students of Darul Uloom Qurashia to help them gain digital literacy and diversify their learning tools.
The event concluded with a heartwarming Iftaar party, organized by SYSF for the Imams, students, and faculty of the Darul Uloom Qurashia, promoting brotherhood and community bonding during the holy month of Ramadan.
"Save Youth Save Future" continues to stand firm in its goal to:
Promote inclusive education
Empower religious and community leaders
Strengthen grassroots societal harmony
“Our efforts are aligned with the vision of a progressive, united, and spiritually enriched Kashmir,” added Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat.
