The sessions focused on encouraging youth to shun radical paths, and instead pursue career opportunities and constructive engagement within Jammu and Kashmir and across India.
The social, economic, and human costs of violence and terrorism were discussed in detail, underlining the urgency of such awareness programs.
“Save Youth Save Future aims to provide a platform for the younger generation to explore their talents in a positive and productive manner,” said Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Chairman SYSF.
He emphasized the need to bridge the trust deficit between the youth and the system by creating spaces for dialogue, education, and opportunity.
“Our youth are the future of the nation — we cannot afford to lose more of them to radical propaganda. Events like these are vital to engage, educate, and empower,” Mr. Bhat added.
The event concluded with tremendous support and participation from the youth of Pulwama, who expressed appreciation for the platform and its message. Chairman Wajahat Farooq Bhat personally thanked the young attendees for their enthusiastic involvement, which contributed to making the event a grand success.
