🔹 Mr. Abhijeet Rathore delivered a compelling speech on the dangers of radical and violent movements, offering clear illustrations on how to counter such ideologies. Drawing inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi, he emphasized the power and effectiveness of non-violent resistance in bringing about meaningful change. His message strongly resonated with the audience, highlighting the destructive nature of terrorism and the transformative power of peace.
🔹 Ms. Anika Nazir discussed the proper use of social media, especially in the context of expressing dissatisfaction or anger without resorting to violence. She also presented visual content from social media to explain how online platforms can either mislead or empower youth. Her talk encouraged responsible digital citizenship and stressed the importance of constructive dialogue over conflict.
The event saw active participation from around 100 attendees, including youth, community leaders, and concerned citizens. The audience engaged with the speakers by asking thoughtful questions, sharing personal experiences, and expressing a strong desire for more such educational programs in the future.
Some attendees shared testimonies of their own journey from radicalization to peace, crediting de-radicalization efforts and mentorship for their transformation. Their stories moved the audience and served as powerful examples of hope and change.
