Religious Scholars, Social Activists, a wonderful speaker Anika and an educationlaist, Owais Nanda. The topic of the event was “Islam- A Religion of Peace” and “How to properly use the social media”. The event consisted of speeches and topics that promoted the religion of peace and shared valuable information about the proper use of social media.
This event aided participants to learn more about social media channels and social activism. This session offered ideas and explores examples and practical techniques through which people can engage and communicate online. It is an opportunity to discover digital opportunities. The attendees learned about various elements in the communication process, the evolution from traditional media to new media, and the adoption of digital technologies that brought significant changes in the way we communicate. This event also explored the emerging field of social media communication as practitioners can use new tools to communicate with their target groups via social networking.
The second segment of the event consisted of topics, speeches and activities that present the real image about Islam. It showed how Islam is the religion of peace and non-violence. The event helped to explore the real side of Islam that is opposite of what the news media and other non-believers show.
The event was attended by different people form North Kashmir, despite the snow and blocked roads. The harsh winter didn’t stop the youth of #Kashmir from attending an opportunity for betterment. This shows the dedication and passion of youth to learn, seek better opportunities and learn new things.
At the last, the Chairman SYSF, Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat who managed the conduct such a transformational event despite the weather conditions and Unavailability of transport. He thanked everyone for attending such a wonderful event for that he shared his opinion and ideas. He further shared his dream of peaceful Kashmir and said’ “I will put in every effort for the peace and prosperity of my Nation”
