Today, on 23rd December 2020, Save Youth Save Future organized an event titled “Understanding Radicalisation” at Town Hall Pulwama. Youth from South Kashmir participated in large numbers, expressing their views on various aspects of radicalization, indoctrination, youth alienation, people-government coordination in addressing public grievances, and bridging the trust deficit between Jammu & Kashmir and New Delhi.

The chief guest for the occasion was Brigadier Rupesh Mehta, who spoke on multiple issues including minimizing the trust deficit between the people and the government, youth engagement, and how the government and security forces can effectively address local grievances.

Additionally, research scholar Aijaz Wani, scholar Tariq Ahmad, and other social activists from South Kashmir also spoke on different issues concerning the region.

At the conclusion of the event, Chairman Save Youth Save Future, Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat, briefed the audience on the issue of radicalization and youth engagement. He also thanked the District Administration Pulwama for their cooperation, the speakers, participants, and the Save Youth Save Future team from South Kashmir.
