Today, J&K Save Youth Save Future successfully conducted the final matches of the District Sports Festival Baramulla at Watergam, Rafiabad, District Baramulla. The event featured final rounds in football, volleyball, and a 300-meter race, with over 1500 participants and spectators in attendance.
Football Final: Team Watergam vs. Team Rehmatabad

Volleyball Final: Team Watergam vs. Team Amargad
→ Another competitive match witnessed by a large audience.
Over 1,500 community members gathered to watch the matches, creating an electric and supportive atmosphere for the youth.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony led by Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat, Chairman of J&K Save Youth Save Future. He awarded:
Trophies to the winners and runners-up
"Man of the Match" awards
Medals to all participants who reached the finals in racing and other events
In a short but impactful speech, Mr. Wajahat Farooq Bhat said:
“Sports are as important as education. We want to give you a platform where you can showcase your talent to the world. So, I urge you all to actively participate in such festivals and matches.”
He further added:
“We humbly request the governments of India and Pakistan, as well as the Hurriyat leadership in Kashmir, to initiate peaceful dialogues. Only through open discussion can we hope for a peaceful and prosperous Kashmir.”
